During Week 3 lecture, my lecturer, Mr. Martin introduce us about Street photography. He taught us what is street photography and how do we capture decisive moments when taking a photo.
What are decisive moments?
Decisive moments are special moments or any unexpected event happen in a daily life. It can be a person or people’s actions. It is a term used for street photography. This term was mentioned by Henri-Cartier Bresson. He states that decisive moments gives photographs inspiration and had an idea to capture that certain moment.
After a brief lecture, our lecturer took us around the campus at Taylor’s University. We had to apply our learning in the first lecture of exposure practice and the term “Decisive moments” when taking a photograph. We need to take photos of a certain action or event happening around the campus.
These are my favourite photographs that I took.
